No Orchids For Miss Blandish

LaRue plays a sadistic gangster. He kills Travers' playboy fiance, then kidnaps the millionairess for himself. After numerous gangland killings, the police kill LaRue. Travis, orchid in hand, plunges to her death from a window. This is supposed to be an insightful gangster thriller but ends up being a sick exercise in sadism. Senseless violence exists merely for its own sake. The script and dialog are completely inane. The comic-book characterizations are equally bad and the "New York" sets have to be seen to be disbelieved. This is about as wretched as they come.
