Based on the 1925 hit Broadway musical, this charming musical develops on the simplest plot lines. Littlefield is a Bible salesman who innocently helps three different women in trouble. He finds himself in troubles of his own when the three simultaneously arrive at his Atlantic City cottage. The farce is humorous in a naive way. The cast certainly is not the greatest for the material--Littlefield takes time to warm up, and Gray is too young to be believed as the love interest--but somehow they manage to pull it off.
