MISSING IN ACTION meets THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE in this poorly conceived and abysmally executed espionage drama. When a secret mission to free a CIA agent from a North Vietnamese POW camp collapses, Capt. Harry Cotter (John Dresden) helps Lt. Ric Sanders (Max Thayer) board the evacuation helicopter but is forced to remain behind himself. Ten years later, after being programmed to kill in Moscow (a tiny microchip implanted in his brain), Cotter is sent to the States to eliminate Sanders' and his own family, then to Central America to assassinate the Pope. Sanders is given special training by the CIA and sent to track down Cotter, whom he catches up with in El Salva...
