Wheeler and Woolsey are a pair of cigar salesmen working out of the same building as Grable. When the song publisher she works for is shot, the comedy team takes the blame. After much confusion, the real killer is found and all ends happily. This is an adequate vehicle for Wheeler and
Woolsey. The climactic slapstick finish is reminiscent of Keystone two-reelers from the 1920s. Grable is somewhat stiff in this early film appearance. The direction is fine for the fare, though too much time is spent on the ins and outs of the music publishing business.
