In a film clearly inspired by the science-fiction films of the 1950s, a giant people-munching monster crash-lands his spaceship and attacks the good people of Earth. The bloodthirsty behemoth appears unstoppable until some of the folks come up with a plan to jolt him 30,000 volts. Will the electricity kill the monster? Do you really care? Although the special effects (including some startling uses of gore makeup) are noteworthy, the actors aren't given much to do other than stand around and talk. The final result is disappointing. leave a comment
