Night Train To Mundo Fine

Director Francis plays an escaped convict who hooks up with aimless adventure-seeker (and coproducer) Cardoza. They join a band of mercenary soldiers who intend to invade Cuba. Though Francis and Cardoza merely want to make some quick cash and have no vested interest in the struggle, they find themselves dragged onto the island anyway, where they are captured by Castro's army. Eventually, they escape and make their way back to the US, where Francis is rearrested.
