Tedious hillbilly drama starring Acuff as a happy-go-lucky Tennessee mountain lad who tries to convince his fellows that the nasty railroad that runs through the area isn't all bad. After all, Lane is in love with the railroad owner's daughter Mara (he doesn't know who she is, of course). Racist treatment of Stewart and McKinney for comedy's sake leaves a bad taste. leave a comment
