This time out, Autry becomes incensed by the misuses of power practiced by Texas law enforcement officers (beatings, bribery, murder, and theft), and he dons his old Texas Ranger uniform and puts an end to the corruption. Between bouts of self-righteous indignation he manages to sing a few
sagebrush tunes, including "Down in Slumberland," "Eyes of Texas," and "A Heart as Big as Texas." Sidekick Pat Buttram warbles "Yellow Rose of Texas." The black-and-white prints have undergone the Sepiatone process.
