This powerful, disturbing film noir stars Danton as a schizophrenic mental patient who is forced into out patient status due to hospital overcrowding. Before he gains his freedom, the doctors advise him to avoid stressful situations. Danton boards a bus to a beachside motel and finds that he likes the area, and the motel owner's daughter, Miller.
