The Night Rider: Review

Bottom-of-the-barrel production sees Carey disguising himself as an infamous hooded outlaw in order to catch the criminal. Carey had to sue low-budget producer Weiss' Supreme Features company to get his $5,000 salary out of this fiasco. Hayes, who had usually played a villain, does a turn as sidekick here, a role he would play again in THE LUCKY TEXAN (1934) and for the remainder of his career, becoming probably Hollywood's best-known sidekick. leave a comment
