A spirited romantic comedy set in London during WW II starring MacMurray as an airman from Texas who ferries warplanes from the US to England. While hiding out in a London air-raid shelter, MacMurray meets Carroll, a proper, well-mannered English girl who has learned to expect the most formal of behavior from men.
