The Night Fighters: Review

A WW II film shot in Ireland and featuring Mitchum, who reluctantly joins the IRA to help expel the British from Northern Ireland. When the IRA decides to collaborate with the Nazis against the British, Mitchum blows the whistle on his comrades, escaping to Liverpool by boat. Good action scenes and fine use of Irish locations help to smooth over some of the screenplay's rough edges. leave a comment
