Nice Girl?

Mainly a vehicle for the looks and charms of Durbin, NICE GIRL? attempted to give the budding starlet a more mature role after a string of successes posing her as a teenager. The weak story has Durbin portraying a girl with a crush on Tone, a professor visiting her family in a suburb of New York City. To get the chance to drive Tone home to New York, Durbin causes him to miss his train. On the drive and in Tone's apartment Durbin attempts several naive advances toward the older man, but each time is met with a mild though pointed rebuff.
