Mainly a vehicle for the looks and charms of Durbin, NICE GIRL? attempted to give the budding starlet a more mature role after a string of successes posing her as a teenager. The weak story has Durbin portraying a girl with a crush on Tone, a professor visiting her family in a suburb of New York City.
