Vienna is the setting for this bloody thriller in which a razor-wielding madman is raping and slashing his way through the city. Fenech stars as a woman almost constantly in danger, with suspicion shifting among her ex-lover (Rassimov), her ex-husband (De Mendoza), and her current lover (Hilton). When the razor killer is himself slain, it appears Fenech is out of danger, but she continues to be the victim of attacks and threats and apparently dies when she is left unconscious in an apartment with the gas turned on. "Apparently" is the operative word here as nothing in this movie is what it seems to be. Her "death" is just a ruse to identify the culprits, and it turns out to be all three men in her life, working together to collect an inheritance. The shocks are plentiful, but the plottings are all pretty transparent and the acting somewhere around competent. The dubbing in English has been poorly done, making some of the allegedly dramatic moments laughable. leave a comment
