A die-hard newspaper reporter with a knack for allowing romantic interests to get in the way of his duties resorts to some unethical methods in order to track down those responsible for a number of murders that have stumped the cops. One thing that is always amazing about these newspaper yarns is that the star reporter is so much better than the detectives at pinning down the culprits. This picture is no exception, though it arrives at the inevitable with a greater amount of flair than most.
