Tone plays a man from Wyoming who has come to the big city in the hopes of finding a wife but winds up in the midst of a murder mystery. The man in the room next to his is found dead by Tone, who hopes a lost bracelet discovered in the room will lead him to the real murderer. He is helped
in his search by the hotel phone operator, Merkel, whom he eventually takes back to Wyoming as his wife. Though lacking in suspense, the neat pacing and comic interludes make for passable entertainment. Actor Charles Starrett, who has a small role here, later became a star in a series of
B-westerns for Columbia.
