Collier and Cortez are friends pursuing the same girl, Bennett. The lady has expensive tastes and Cortez successfully woos her with cash stolen from his employer. Jockey Collier sets out to win a big race to get money so that Cortez can replace what he stole, but Bennett takes off with the winnings. Cortez gets a prison term, then the boys renew their friendship.
