O'Sullivan returned to the screen after a long absence in the role of an aging woman who discovers she's pregnant, much to the consternation of her elderly husband, Ford, and to the surprise of the rest of the town. This leads to numerous family problems since Ford does not feel up to the
responsibility of a child, and daughter Stevens is now forced to cook and clean, something she never had to do before. After a drunken battle of words with the town mayor, Nolan, and his wife's departure, Ford decides to resign himself to the fact that he's about to become a father. All the while
Stevens tries to become pregnant as well. Pretty childish stuff.
