Set in his ways, stoic farmer Tony Egan (Donal McCann) learns of the death of his estranged sister Karen, who's spent the past several decades in America. Honoring her deathbed wish, Tony agrees to raise her teenage son Chad (Hill Harper) but is shocked to learn that he's half African-American. Years before, Tony had squelched Karen's affair with the love-of-her-life Joe Brady (Pierce Brosnan). As history repeats itself, Chad promptly falls for Brady's daughter Aislin (Aislin Mc Guckin).
