Atkins plays an amnesiac who fails to recognize any of the people close to her, while a detective tries to persuade her that she may be linked with various crimes. She regains her memory and goes back to her boring life as a housewife. The film is loaded with symbolism, but lacks any real dramatic content. Viewers are left with no real understanding of what lay behind Atkins' memory loss. Highly structured camera-work places emphasis upon the alienating environment. leave a comment
