The Hawaiian background footage is more impressive than the story, which asks, "Who suffers more--the naval officer or his wife?" Trevor, who has seen much of divorce, is hesitant about falling in love. She softens when Bellamy comes into her life, although she thinks he is still in love with his late wife. As the loneliness mounts, she marries him anyway (because his crippled daughter needs care) and finds out that he really does love her after all. leave a comment
