A few laughs, but that's about it in this Tin Pan Alley yarn. Powell is a small-town composer who goes to New York in search of that elusive big break. He hooks up with a group led by songstress Sheridan. One of his best tunes is stolen and remade into a song titled "Hooray for Spinach," an upbeat number sung by Sheridan.
