National Lampoon's Dorm Daze

Billingsley University blowhard Styles McFee (Patrick Renna) bursts into the dorm room of his younger brother, Booker (Chris Owen), with an ultimatum: Booker must lose his virginity or risk ostracism! But astonishingly enough, Booker believes in saving himself for marriage and is not the least bit interested in relinquishing his chastity to some hoochie. Meanwhile, popular co-ed Adrienne (Cameron Richardson) is having second thoughts about having made out with the nerdy Newman (Tony Denman), frat-boy Tony (Edwin Hodge) is pursuing the athletic, aloof Claire (Tatyana Ali) and Styles is waiting for Dominique (Boti Bliss), the hooker he's hired to take care of Booker's little problem. As fate would have it, Dominique takes a wrong turn and is late, but a foreign-exchange student from France who also just happens to be named Dominique (Marie Noelle Marquis) wanders into the hellzapoppin' dorm. Dominique No.2 doesn't speak English very well and is, naturally, mistaken for Dominique No.1. And there's more! Nefarious criminals are trying to infiltrate the campus at the same time yet another co-ed, Gerri (Marieh Delfino), is wracking her brains for a way to pay her tuition, and Dominque No.1 searches high and low for Styles. While Dominique no.2 — a good girl despite the fact that she's French — fights off the advances of leering louts, Newman writes Adrienne a love note in a last-ditch effort to woo her. The letter is, inevitably, delivered to the wrong person: Newman’s gay roommate, Foosball (Randy Spelling). Chaos reigns as lovestruck students, shady interlopers and the two Dominiques try to escape this maze of mistaken identities and crossed intentions.

Undergrads take note: This is perfect viewing after an all-night beer blast. Everyone else: Gird your loins for dumbed-down Feydeau-esque farce and prepare yourself for the sequel. Or not. leave a comment --Robert Pardi
