The best of the four "Nancy Drew" movies has Granville in the familiar role of the female sleuth, solving a murder and helping a children's hospital. A will has bequeathed a mansion to the hospital if two spinsters can spend every night in it for 20 years. Two weeks before the time has
expired strange things start happening in the house. Drew and boy friend Thomas get on the case and discover that a gang is trying to drive the old ladies out to acquire the site for a planned racetrack. The cast is solid and the pace is quick.
