One of several La Traviata-based films released in the late 1950s to early 1960s that dealt with ladies of the evening, most of which were the old story of the "hooker with a heart of gold." This time it's Lollobrigida who's the call girl. Franciosa the rebellious son of wealthy manufacturer Borgnine, is head over heels for Lollobrigida without knowing a thing about her past.
