French director Allegret made several English-language films and this may be his worst. Set in Canada, the film tells the story of Maria (Morgan), who returns to her village after five years in a convent. She falls in love with three men--Moore, Lemaire, and Watling--and the remainder of the film depicts her problems in finding Mr. Right.
