The nature of love and marriage is studied in two episodes. The first, titled "Violence," follows a young married couple as the wife is gang-raped while the husband is forced to watch. In the aftermath, both refuse to acknowledge the event ever took place. "Love," the second segment, has a
woman being hospitalized after an attempted suicide. When a pretty young woman remains at her side during the hospital stay, the victim's husband innocently flirts with the girl. The wife dies, leaving the husband to wallow in his guilt because he felt unfaithful to her.
