A train car gets loose and coasts down a mountain slope. While everyone aboard is frightened, the good guy and bad guy fight it out on the rear platform. Using a lot of leftover footage from a similarly themed silent film, MYSTERY TRAIN is somehow stretched out to an hour. That's the mystery. The photography is good and old-time moviegoers may get a thrill seeing future gossip queen Hopper in this trash. leave a comment
