A potentially interesting film is severely hampered by routine handling. When a Nazi U-boat is abandoned by its crew, the British capture the sub. They find its codebook still on board, along with the complete ship's log. The sub is outfitted with British seamen who infiltrate a "wolfpack" of Nazi U-boats.
