Mystery Sea Raider: Review

Standard melodrama-intrigue film about a freighter hijacked by Nazis in the Caribbean. Landis happens to be aboard, thus causing some romantic interest to go along with the danger. Much newsreel footage of German ships and submarines is incorporated into the film, and it's all easily spotted. Eventually a British cruiser comes to save the day, with Landis doing her part as well. Stevens is fairly convincing as the Nazi captain. The direction and script are standard. leave a comment
