Jules Verne's sequel to
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was the subject of several films, and this 1961 version is probably the most popular. Capt. Cyrus Harding (Michael Craig) is the leader of some Union soldiers (and one Confederate deserter) who escape by balloon from a Confederate jail.
