Traveling around the country in a boxcar, reporter Dunn finds himself deep in trouble. He accidentally gets involved in an unusual murder case involving a rich man. The cops are incompetents (as they always seem to be whenever a reporter investigates a movie murder) and Dunn solves the crime.
