Francis is the mother of four kids, three of whom are ungrateful to their widowed mom and move in with their wealthy aunt. Only Moore remains faithful to his mother, as well as endearing himself to a wealthy neighbor. When the neighbor passes away, it is discovered she has left her entire fortune to Moore. You can only guess who comes back all misty-eyed. Francis is miscast, looking far too young (and handsomely wardrobed) to be a struggling mother of four. A remake of the 1930 film COURAGE, a far superior film.
