My Kind Of Town

The local population of a small Vancouver Island town suffers from an unemployment problem due to a lengthy economic recession. Smith plays a young man confused by the frustrations of both his unemployed father and his own hopes. Schleisser is a West German photojournnalist who arrives and engages in an affair with Smith. When Smith is caught committing vandalism, he is arrested and assigned to do compulsory work for the community.
