Catlett is a medicine show operator who decides to strike it rich by having his assistant McDonald pose as a 14-year-old and enter a singing contest. She wins and goes to the Big Apple to do a show sponsored by a vitamin pill company. Catlett goes along, pretending to be McDonald's uncle.
Complications arise when Crosby, a band leader, falls for McDonald but tries to stop himself because he believes her to be underaged. Though only one hour and designed to fill out double bills, this is a well-made light comedy that never lets its genre limit what it can do. The principals are
