After his parents are both killed in an auto accident, young Lemmond is left with the family's German Shepherd, London (star of THE LITTLEST HOBO). The two go through the standard "boy and his dog" adventures, which the kids undoubtedly will love. The film itself is not so bad but is
hampered by its low budget and poor use of flashback narration. A scene at the canine show where the dogs "talk" to each other is too hokey for words. Worst of all, the film offers some black stereotypes reminiscent of films of the 1930s.
