Rooney is completely miscast as a city slicker traveling West to visit his brother, Stack. He teams up along the trail with ranger Preston and discovers that his brother is really an outlaw. Together Rooney and Preston put Stack behind bars. The trite story, adapted from a novel by western
writer Brand, is far below the talents of its three stars. Rooney seems out of place while Preston and Stack give mechanical performances. Shot outside of Mexico City, this film is aimed at children, but they'll probably leave it for just about anything else.
