Murphy's Law

Jack Murphy (Charles Bronson) is a detective who finds himself framed for the murder of his estranged stripper wife and her lover. The real malefactor is Joan Freeman (Carrie Snodgress), a psychopath he sent to an asylum 10 years before and who is now out looking for revenge. Murphy is arrested for the murders and handcuffed to foul-mouthed punk pixie Arabella McGee (Kathleen Wilhoite). When he escapes, she is along for the ride while Murphy tries to figure out who's gunning for him.
