Murf The Surf

Based on a series of burglaries that fascinated the media in Miami, Florida, as well as capturing the imagination of the public, Conrad and Stroud play a pair of ne'er-do-well beach bums who turn to robbing posh Miami homes. Bored with their seemingly unchallenging booty, they decide to go after some real loot and head off to New York City to fetch the famed Star of India sapphire from the American Museum of Natural History. Though the actual events are toned down for the film, this is a quirky and entertaining little picture.
