Four people are murdered through the use of one of the more original B-picture murder techniques: injection of rattlesnake venom. Lowe, a Broadway actor and supreme egotist, is one of the suspects. He's fingered by Dale, a local panhandler he continually has ignored. Chapman plays a press agent with whom Lowe falls in love, and Litel is the doctor ultimately found guilty of the crimes.
