Confusing and poorly written crime picture finds Norris arranging the murder of his wife, Regis, so that it looks like Norris did the killing during an alcoholic blackout. Bank clerk Holden provides the alibi and he gets off. However, policeman Stevens is suspicious and decides to follow Norris. He finds that Benedict was hired by Norris as the hit man.
