Murder Without Tears

Confusing and poorly written crime picture finds Norris arranging the murder of his wife, Regis, so that it looks like Norris did the killing during an alcoholic blackout. Bank clerk Holden provides the alibi and he gets off. However, policeman Stevens is suspicious and decides to follow Norris. He finds that Benedict was hired by Norris as the hit man. Stevens arranges things so that the two conspirators get into a fight, during which Benedict kills Norris. The hit man is then killed himself in a tangle with Stevens, who ends up in a romance with Holden.
