Murder In The Music Hall

Ice skating star Ralston is in love with the show's orchestra leader, played by Marshall. When a blackmailer who lives next door to the music hall where they perform is killed, Ralston and co-stars Walker, Kelly, Rutherford and Bishop are considered suspects. Marshall turns sleuth, solves the crime with the help of a police inspector, Gargan, and the girls are exonerated. This is a better-than-average program mystery with the suspense built nicely by the director. Unlike many films of this nature, the killer isn't obvious, and the investigation actually entails some thinking.
