Murder At Dawn

1932, Movie, NR, 55 mins

starstarstarstar
Badly done mystery-comedy involving a scientist who excitedly announces he has perfected a device to harness solar energy. When the inventor is visited by his daughter, Beebe, and her husband, Boland, the trouble begins. Crazed caretaker Auer duplicates the solar device, but hasn't been able to perfect it, so he kidnaps and tortures the scientist into revealing his secrets. Lots of trap doors, secret passages, and lousy jokes in this unsuccessful farce. leave a comment
