A few months ago we took a hands-on look at Digital Copy with Family Guy - Blue Harvest. The show's Star Wars parody came to DVD with an extra disc containing a digital file version of the feature which easily copied to a Video iPod, a PC, or a PC-file compatible device (like an Archos media player). It's a handy way to get a "portable" copy of the DVD you've bought, so you don't have to buy it all over again via download to the hard drive of your laptop or a portable video device. But what else is on the way for Digital Copy?· Fox has the biggest support for on-disc Digital Copy so far, but Family Guy was actually their second. Last November's 2-DVD version of Live Free or Die Hard was first. The Blu-ray version didn't have it, though, and it didn't support iPod copies yet either (leaving iPod users AND Macintosh users out in the cold). Per Variety, Brendan Fraser has finally signed on the dotted line for The Mummy 3, but leading lady Rachel Weisz took a big, fat pass. The follow-up, penned by Smallville's Miles Millar and Al Gough, features Jet Li as the baddie.... Producers Dino and Martha De Laurentiis are out to reinvent Barbarella as "a free, modern gal who survives in a futuristic world through her intelligence, fighting skills and sexuality." Hate to say it, but Lindsay Lo just found a franchise (intelligence can always be faked).... Forest Whitaker has joined The Great Debaters, a fact-based drama directed by and featuring Denzel Washington as a small-town college debate-team coach.

Bring on the TP! Kicky martial-arts hero Jet Li is all wrapped up in talks to play the title character in The Mummy 3, the Hollywood Reporter tells us. Although the plot is being kept hush-hush, what is known is that the story will be set in China and will include at least one sequence showcasing the famous terra-cotta warriors that were constructed as guards for an emperor's tomb. No word yet on whether Brendan Fraser or Rachel Weisz will be back.

Premiering Sunday at 9 pm/ET, and airing for eight consecutive nights, Sleeper Cell: American Terror finds Farik in U.S. captivity, but no less a force to be reckoned with. But when he tried to turn down an offer to join the cast of Veritas: The Quest, ABC's high-tech riff on Indiana Jones-type adventurers, he was told in no uncertain terms to sphinx again.
