An energetic, chaotic musical comedy starring Peter Noone and his Herman's Hermits, the popular British pop group of the 1960s who had a top tune of the same name. Noone inherits a prize greyhound named Mrs. Brown and decides to make his fortune by racing the dog and eventually winning a
national derby. The other Mrs. Brown, wealthy Washbourne, has a daughter, Caldwell. Noone and the boys eventually land a singing job in a nightclub, and both the dog and Caldwell disappear for a while. Later, the dog is found and wins a big race, plus gives birth to puppies. Noone gives up on
