Rotten, disjointed kung-fu flick that went through three directors (Monte Hellman, Seth Holt, and finally Carreras) and three cinematographers (Probyn, Wilcox, and Ford) before they completed shooting. Whitman wanders through his role as a cynical, world-weary international hit man who
must fight dozens of battles against hordes of arm-flailing Asian villains. Cushing appears all
too briefly as a British undercover agent. Hammer also shot the vastly superior LEGEND OF THE SEVEN GOLDEN VAMPIRES (1973), starring Cushing, at the same time. Both films were shot in the early 1970s,
but neither was released until years later.
