Well-paced British satire on the Cold War has Cole as a sanitary engineer suddenly involved in espionage when he finds himself the possessor of British atom bomb plans. This makes him an immediate hit with the Russian government, but Cole never seems to understand what all the fuss is
about. The picture manages to poke fun at both sides in an innocent and charming manner. Homolka and White are excellent in their caricatures as a bungling Russian and a scientist, respectively.
