Mr. North

Based on the semiautobiographical novel Theophilus North by Thornton Wilder, the film takes place in the snobby high-society world of Newport, Rhode Island, circa 1926. Young Yale graduate Theophilus North (Anthony Edwards) has a mysterious ability to generate static electricity in his body that manifests itself in mild shocks coming from his hands. North soon ingratiates himself with most of the community and proceeds to "cure"people of minor and imagined ills. Although MR.
