A disappointing effort in the series of "Mr. Moto" thrillers, mainly because of the attempt to put too much into too short a time slot, without generating the type of suspense common to the earlier pictures. In this one Lorre poses as an archaeologist in Southeast Asia but is actually interested in a nearby province where a fanatical priest, Regas, is planning to rid the entire area of its white population.
