Mozambique

Cochran, who died before the picture's release, stars as an out-of-work American pilot who travels from Lisbon to Mozambique where he is to work for a mysterious colonel. Along the way, he meets Bach, who is going to be a singer in one of the colonel's nightclubs. Upon arrival, they find the colonel is dead and get caught up in intrigue involving the colonel's widow (Neff), narcotics smuggling, and a murderous midget. The complicated plottings slow the film down, but the beautiful location shooting in Mozambique and at Victoria Falls helps, though not enough to recommend the picture.
